Growth of national beef price on consumer level relatively
stabil in 2013 compare to 2011 and 2012. The coefficient of variance in 2013 is
3.04%, while in 2012 reach to 8.37% and 3.62 in 2011. However, beef prices in
2013 still stood at high price level. Moreover, beef prices that occurred in
2013 has established a new price is considered not going drop again. The
average national price of beef at the consumer level in 2013 reach Rp.
92.237/Kg or increase 20% compare to 2012, and up to 37.95% compare to 2011. (Table 1)

Beef prices are likely to increase each year, with relatively
similar patterns of movement, prices are likely to increase significantly in
the period of the Great Days of the National Religious (HBKN). It is seen that
in the last 3 years, beef prices rise nationwide consumer level was highest in
July-August, at which time it is the fasting month and Lebaran (graph 1). During
July-August, the average national price of beef increases ranged 8-13%.
